Based in Devizes at Renelec Group’s main offices Renelec Groundworks Ltd provide groundwork and civils as a subcontractor to various sectors and clients across the south west of England and beyond.  We pride ourselves in working with our clients to get schemes running well, on time and on budget from the ground up and for getting things right, first time.

A long established company who have been trading for over 35 years with many of the original staff and operatives still with us, Renelec Groundworks also place a large emphasis on apprentices and training ensuring we have the continuity of a skilled workforce moving forward to continue building on the company’s success and good reputation.

Sectors involved in include private housing, HA works, schools, sheltered accommodation, military assets, hospital and other public sector works.  Clients include house builders Crest Nicholson, Bellway Homes, Linden Homes, Curo Housing Association as well as contractors such as Lovell and Beard Construction and local builders such as Gaiger Brothers, Ashford Homes and R J Leighfield & Sons.

Contract sizes can vary from a small school extension to 3-400 unit housing sites with each scheme resourced to according to its unique requirements and intricacies.  Renelec Groundworks relish a challenge, heavily engineered schemes that have often been turned down by other groundworks contractors because they require thinking outside the box are a common feature on our order book.  Renelec offers a full and professional service to their clients often advising from the land appraisal stage right through to practical completion.  With the intricacies of all the elements involved in a groundworks scheme we offer an invaluable insight into value engineering and challenging the design to get the very best value for the client from any scheme.
